Hello everyone! I had the opportunity to take some time and read the article "Rapid Response teams: a proactive strategy for improving patient care" At the facility I work at we have been given the privilege of having a Rapid Response team and it has made a huge impact on the care we provide to our patients. Not only do we utilize these critical care nurses when a patient's status has changed or deteriorated, but they are utilized when a nurse has any concern regarding a patient and or if family members have concerns about their loved ones who are sick. I have only been a nurse for about two in a half years and I certainly don't have a strong background in critical care. I take full advantage of the rapid response team any chance I get. Thanks for suggesting and posting this article! Any stories or input would be greatly appreciated.
